Occupy Raffles Place

The police warned the public to take part in a protest to be held at Raffles Place on Saturday when it will be banned.

The event, called Raffles Place seems to occupy themselves with the current Wall Street protests held in New York, inspired in the U.S..

In a statement responding to questions from the press, the police said they had reports that an Internet user “to encourage the public stage a protest rally” in Raffles Place on Saturday, a similar demonstration in New York, was supported.

“The police invite members of the public is not misled, and wise to take part in an illegal activity,” the statement said.
